Today, for a random attendance reward, we had the WVU Puppet Mobile come perform for our students. Their show used traditional marionettes to retell some traditional tales with a few new twists. A few of the tales they heard were: The Three Little Pigs, The Tortoise and the Hare, and The Lion and the Mice.

Thank you to Michelle Gallo, Taylor County Board of Education member, for reading to Mrs. Noble's first grade class.

If you have concerns or questions, please plan to attend or email Jenny McCarthy-jmccarthy@k12.wv.us for calendar concerns/questions
OR Helen Roberts-hjroberts@k12.wv.us for NTID plan concerns/questions.

When students are able to read fluently, then there is not the need to devote as much energy on decoding the words. As a result, more focus can be placed on comprehending or understanding the material read.
