
Taylor County Schools will have a Non-Traditional Instructional Day (NTID) tomorrow, Friday, April 21 due to transportation issues. Staff are to report on a 2 hour delay.

Ready, Read, Write, West Virginia is an initiative created by the West Virginia Department of Education to increase literacy proficiency for all students. On March 29, 2023, Grafton Rotary, represented by Brenda Tokarz and Butch Bias, presented an atlas to each third grader at West Taylor. Thank you so much. The students are enjoying reading about places both near and far.




Students came home with raffle tickets yesterday. If you need more tickets please reach out and PTO will get those to you. Once you have sold your tickets please return them to the school so we can keep ahead of them. ALL TICKETS (SOLD AND UNSOLD) AND MONEY MUST BE RETURNED TO THE SCHOOL BY THE MORNING OF APRIL 21st. You can buy Spring Carnival raffle tickets at our Craft Show this Saturday, April 1st!


Upon visiting any Taylor County School, guests are required to enter a secure area for further identification before being granted any access to the interior part of the school building.
