First Grade made gingerbread houses on Friday. Students have been working on gingerbread activities all week in math and reading. Thank you to our parent volunteers who assembled the houses for the students to decorate!
A HUGE THANK YOU to our West Taylor families! We were able to help out with so many children this Christmas. More Grace Outreach will be able to hand out our bags in the coming weeks. We appreciate the support from our families to make this such a success. 🎄 🎁 Again, THANK YOU!

The PTO will be hosting our Holiday Shop Dec. 9-13. Your child will visit during their library time. Family Day will be Wednesday Dec. 11th from 3-5. Lots of new items this year. 🎄
Tomorrow is our fall picture makeup or retake day. If your child did not get his/her picture taken at the beginning of the year, his/her picture will be taken tomorrow. If you would like your child's photo to be retaken, please let your child's teacher know!

Thank you 5th Street Center for Dance and The Robinson Grand Theater for having our school today to see Disney Descendants: The Musical. The show was excellent, and our students really enjoyed it!
We would like to congratulate our grade level students of the month for November!
First Grade students learned about the puppeteer Tony Sara who invented the balloons we see in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade today. Students also learned how the balloons are made. Then they sketched a design and made a 3-D model of their balloons. Lastly, the students paraded around the school with their balloons.
The West Taylor Choir performed at the Taylor County Board of Education meeting yesterday.
